Dx3D Medical Education App

Dx3D is a medical education app aimed at UK radiologists.

Dx3D is a medical education mobile application developed to support UK radiologists. The app has been initiated and fully funded by MSD and created in collaboration with radiologists from the United Kingdom and Spain, who contributed core educational content and materials. Technical development was carried out by Inneva Pharma SL.

Dx3D is an educational resource and is not a diagnostic tool. It is not intended to replace clinical judgement or other professional medical resources.

The app is designed to support education on the identification and assessment of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH). Dx3D uses interactive 3D models alongside axial computed tomography (CT) images to illustrate the pulmonary vasculature, surrounding anatomical structures, and radiological features associated with CTEPH.

The application includes four learning modes:

  • Healthy anatomy
  • Acute pulmonary embolism
  • CTEPH with proximal lesions
  • CTEPH with distal lesions
